Hi! I dont undertand why this folder is huge (4Gb) and every day more.
The last week we had a problem server because this folder was 15 Gb…

I try to enabled the option “cache_lifespan” putting 1 day, but nothing happen.

I want that this folder deleted automatically the files every day or not generate a thousands folders, but I don’t understand because the plugin do it.

    Thanks!

    Hi @pardebits

Could you please install WP Crontrol plugin and see wpo_minify_purge_old_cache is there and scheduled with recurrence of daily ? Thanks

    EDIT:
Sorry! Yes, I have the hook:

    wpo_minify_purge_old_cache

    WP_Optimize_Minify_Cache_Functions::purge_old()

    Next execute:
    4 horas 19 minutos

    And set “Cada día”

So, I click in “execute now” but nothing happend.

    EDIT 2:
I think the problem is that we have DISABLE_WP_CRON in true.

There are a way to execute this with the disable_wp_cron in true?

Can I create a cron task from server?

    Thanks!

@pardebits Using DISABLE_WP_CRON will only disable cron on page loads. You can still run it from WP Crontrol by clicking Run Now link.

if you set cache lifespan to 0 or 1 and the total cache size is not reduced even after running it (or size grows rapidly after reduce), then we need more information. What theme are you using?

You can submit a support ticket here https://getwpo.com/ask-pre-sales-question/ to discuss site specific details. It is pre sales question form, but it will reach our support channel
