Huge input lookup Error

    Hi,

    I have tried this plugin successfully on a couple of small spreadsheets but have had problems importing two larger spreadsheets of ~3MB and ~17MB in both XLSX and CSV with issues. I enabled error showing and got the two errors – the first with the smaller file and the second with the larger file:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 256913859 bytes) in /home/totalwe1/threethinks.com/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/libraries/simplexlsx.class.php on line 744

    Any help is appreciated. I will need to install a few of your premium plugins once I get this working ??

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Unfortunately, the only real suggestion that I can make here is to avoid the Excel import, but to use the CSV import. That’s much more robust and can import large tables better.

    That said, you will likely not enjoy working with these large tables. So, if this keeps making problems, I can only suggest to use an actual database table and a custom implementation for displaying the data.
