Huge log file points to lexer.php
-
We have recently seen huge jumps in server disk usage. The response from our host’s support team says:
While digging the domain logs, it appears the majority of the logs are going here : [website named here]
After some digging the error log for the past week has become exceedingly large. The error keeps going to :
[Wed Feb 07 17:04:48.323576 2024] [fcgid:warn] [pid 580741:tid 140345082160896] [client 47.128.16.112:33204] mod_fcgid: stderr:
All-in-One Event Calendar: preg_match(): Passing null to parameter #4
($flags) of type int is deprecated @
/home/scklswp/……/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/vendor/twig/Lexer.php:198 8192The error popped up 55505310 times today. This amount of error within 3-4 days took up about 80 GB of your server space. This has been going on for the week and I assume it would just as many errors. I’d recommend turning off the plugin or having it checked out by the plugin developer. I’m going to truncate the logs so this will save you space on the server.
We have 16 sites running the All-in-One Events Calendar in the same environment, and apparently this is the only one with the problem!
