Huge Mobile Menu

  • Hey,

    So I’m making this – https://baikaliata.bg/varvarite/
    On the desktop version the menu is looking awesome. But on mobile it’s really huge. Is there a way to fix this or some plugin for mobile menu that works really well with your theme?

    My backup plan is to make another smaller mobile menu.

  • You’ll have the most control over your mobile menu if you just create a separate menu for your mobile layout.

    The mobile menu by default shows all sub menu items when you click the dropdown, so I would recommend just making a new menu for mobile that doesn’t include as many of those items, focusing on the most important ones. You’ll still have sufficient navigation, and you’ll remove the clutter that you currently have within your menu.

    Actually, I take that back. You should check under Appearance> Theme Options> Menu Settings, and scroll down to the bottom of the options on that page.

    See if you have enabled “Submenu items collapse until opened.”

    If that is turned on, then it should clean up your mobile menu quite a bit.
