to hide the top of the sidebar, push the main container down:
#page .main { margin-top: 10px; }

push it down further to expose the page title:
#page .main { margin-top: 50px; }

can I have one more favor?

I tried to center the copyright but all what I was able to do is to center it in the middle of the left half of the page, is there any way to put it exactly in the middle of the page?

Try this:

#footer .one-half {
  text-align: center;
  width: 100%;
	}

Update: you should use #footer-bottom so it doesn’t conflict with the footer widgets.
