    Thank you for the feedback. This plugin is executing flush_rewrite_rules(false) on the init action. Please make sure you add your custom rewrite rules before that.

    Took me a minute to understand what you meant, but what I did was add a priority to the init action on my custom post type (2–just a guess), and then updated permalinks. Everything is working together great now…thanks!

    add_action( 'init', 'vrtheme_event_type_register', 2 );
