Hundreds of Holiday Spam Bots

  • I just spent half an hour deleting spambot registered users all over the 2013 Christmas break. I had seen a couple a week until the last two weeks. Good grief something broke.

  • Or the bot learned to solve the captcha better. Unfortunately, these bots work with some sort of OCR that makes them read text in images. Recaptcha is pretty good, bots don’t seem to be able to solve it.
