    OK – more on this – I just discovered the hungry feed button – and using that – I generated this :

    {hungryfeed url=”https://my.1999.io/users/jgphilpin/rss.xml” feed_fields=”” item_fields=”title,description” link_target=”_blank” max_items=”10″ order=”random”}{hungryfeed url=”https://my.1999.io/users/jgphilpin/rss.xml” feed_fields=”” item_fields=”title,description” link_target=”_blank”}

    … again using { for ]

    a lot of it seems to work – including randomization of posts – but still not getting a limited count of posts

    HELP !!

    … and fixed – sorry for the interruption

    problem originally was the introduction that ‘:’
    problem in second post was that I had TWO statements generated – even tho the button auto resets to default state – so each time you have to put everything in again – it doesn’t over write what was on the page before.

    Now I have cracked that – all is working as it says on the tin – now I am off to play with templates …
