Hurtigkasse transaction ID problems

  • Hello,
    We have been trying to implement Vipps to our cliend for quite some time now.
    The problem we have is with the hurtigkasse.
    When we try to pay with hurtigkasse we are taken all the way to the end, but when we press “pay” we get a following message: “Vipps Transaction Id cannot be empty”.
    This is the problem occuring on android app while on IOS we get a message : “Noe gikk galt, vi mottok ingen leveringsmetoder”.
    Vipps is not calculating shipping either, we get just the product price.
    The normal vipps payment in checkout seems to be working fine.
    Our customer has also a BRING shipping integration.

    What seems to be the problem here ?
    I am not sure where to start ??

    The error message is actually misleading – it is the Vipps server that is not getting *some* correct data from your site; it is almost certainly an empty shipping details – which means that the shipping callback from Vipps isn’t able to find any shipping methods.

    Which of the BRING integrations are you using?

    The webstore is using ” WooCommerce Bring Shipping” version 1.8 by Netpilot.

    Unfortunately, this plugin is not yet supported by Express Checkout – this is because of limitations on how shipping is calculated in this context; which unfortunately limits the number of shipping plugins that work.

    Normal checkout will work, and we do have plans to improve the handling of shipping in express checkout, but we are unfortunately not there yet.

    HEllo Iver,
    I just spoke to Vipps support and i was told that hurtigkasse would work with https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bring-fraktguiden-for-woocommerce/ , can you confirm this ?

    It works with limitations: Prices will be correctly calculated, but currently we cannot send and receive metadata to the Vipps app (and back).

    If you need to have the Bring plugin integrated with their other services (apart from the basic price calculations) the neccessary metadata will be lost so this will not work.

    Again, we do have plans for this problem, but currently this is how it is.
