Hyper Cache how can I tell if the plugin is working

Hi,
I installed Hyper Cache and installation was easy enough.
My site https://www.smashpalace.net.nz/gallery is quite intense in terms of images. I do not see any change in loading time.
I am using Media Grid plugin for the galleries. I am not sure if this is creating a problem. I would appreciate some help in speeding up the site.
