Hyper Cache stops cleaning cache after a few hours
-
Firstly, thanks for a great plugin! ??
I use the latest version of Hyper Cache (2.8.7) on WordPress 3.3.1, and am experiencing a strange problem, but just on one website (it’s fine on the others).
After enabling the plugin, the self-cleaning cron starts out fine – see https://imm.io/fBWk
But after a few hours, it stops the self-cleaning cron and the date disappears – see https://imm.io/fBV2
I’ve disabled and re-enabled the plugin many times, but each time the same thing happens. The result is that the cache isn’t cleaned and grows too large, so that I get out-of-space notices for that web hosting account.
Any ideas? As I say, it’s only happening on this one website. It’s almost as if the WordPress built-in pseudo cron is messed up …
Can I run the cleaning cron via a cPanel/Unix cron job instead? If so, how?
Thanks!
