• Hi,

    The ‘link text’ option is not displaying when I try to add a hyperlink, so I can’t add the links.

    This function is essential for my work, and it’s the 2nd time I’ve had major issues with this.

  • Hi,

    This is a WordPress user interface, nothing to do with Hueman theme.

    You have to click on the cogwheel icon when inserting a link.
    It will popup with input for link text.

    I obviously didn’t describe things clearly.

    I have been using this function for months so yes, I always click on the cogwheel icon.

    I noticed yesterday that this now does NOT bring up the link text box, only the url box and the little box to open in a new window.

    I haven’t activated any new plug ins either, so I’m at a loss to understand what is happening.

    Any further suggestions would be mostg welcome.

    Hi,

    As shown in my screen-cast, it’s working properly for me.
    I do not know what’s causing your issue. You can try to find out the cause by using the following general troubleshooting steps.

    Check your Child theme.

    1) If you are using a child theme, you can check whether it’s an issue with your child theme by activating your Hueman Theme.

    2) Clear any cache plugin’s cache content and browser history before re-visiting your editor.

    Check your software version.

    1 ) Check if you are using latest version of theme, plugins and WordPress, Update them if you are not using latest version.

    Next step is to check for plugin conflict.

    1) If you are using a server cache or cache plugin, please clear it’s cache content and disable caching via it’s settings.

    2) Proceed to disable one plugin at a time, clear browser history and re-visit your editor. Check if it’s working properly.

    Do this until you find the plugin that’s causing this issue, please replace with an alternative plugin.
