    This capability existed in the link editor modal window pre-4.2. Now, on mine, at least, it shows “link text” instead of “link title”. Was this change deliberate or a bug?

    What I’m looking for is the option for the reader to hover their mouse over the hyperlink to have the verse pop up for them so they aren’t required to be directed to another website. This way everything is contained within the post.

    I know how to insert hyperlinks, but maybe I’m misunderstanding the suggestions.

    @kingdom – the suggestion by @laliz was correct for the behavior you request. It used to be available in the link editor within WP, but seems to be gone now. If you switch to Text view in the editor, you can add that text into the link itself.
