Hyperlinks

This latest way of adding hyperlinks into content –

The one where you highlight the text to be linked, then you scroll up to the ‘add link’ icon, then scroll back down to try and find the floating box where you paste the URL, then you need to click on ‘link settings’ to open another box where you can finally ‘target_blank’ it –

I don’t like the system at all.

Is there a way to get the old system back?
