i uploaded them, but would it be better if i manually drop them in the wppa-depot and extract there in cpanel first, then import?

i have tried both import from folder in wppa-depot that i added myself through ftp in cpanel, and i have tried uploading zipped through your upload interface, both still have hyphens.

it never use to add hyphens until lately.

can you simply tell me how to do it without hyphens in photo names?

Use the Photo Albums -> Upload Photos admin page, box A or B
    Upload photos individually, no zips.

i have 300+ photos and need to all at once, individually or one at a time will take forever, is their a quicker way?

yours only lets you do upto 20 at a time. Am i missing something? i use to be able to upload zips and not have this problem, what changed?

can you make an update change that allows you to “replace all – (hyphens) in photonames with spaces”?

    (@johnny-mosaic)

if i install and activate imagemajick will it let me upload zip folder with bulk images and remove hyphen?

    Plugin Author Jacob N. Breetvelt

    (@opajaap)

No, all files in the depot will be sanitized ( i.e. spaces replaced by dashes/hyphens ) before processing.

I will add a tool in Table VIII to remove all dashes from photonames.

Thanks, when will it be available for update?

    (@opajaap)

    From the changelog 6.9.16:

    * Added ‘Filename without extension, spaces for hyphens’ as option to Table IX-D13.
    * Added maintenance proc Table VIII-B20: Remove all hyphens from all photo names and replace them by spaces.

Will be available by the end of the week (friday(?)).
