    Hi there,

I’ve been wanting to enter a subject line using a form field.

However, there are two configurations which cause the subject line to come up empty.

First is adding a hyphen anywhere in the line
“Website Name – New enquiry for {hidden-2}”

And second is adding a word after the field
“New enquiry for {hidden-2} at Website Name”

    Something like this works fine
    “New enquiry for {hidden-2}”

I couldn’t find anything specific to my issue in the docs, just wondering what I might be missing here?

    Hello @jayahn4

Hope you’re doing well today! Thank you for reaching out to us.

I tested both the scenarios you mentioned on my testing site with the {hidden-1} field added the same as you’ve mentioned, however, I was unable to replicate the issue. The notifications with a Hyphen in the subject line arrived fine. Please refer to the screenshot below.

Although, I had the hidden field default value set to date, can you please let me know the default value for the hidden-2 field that you’ve set so that we can take a more detailed look at it?

Moreover, if possible, we would also like to take a closer look at your form so that we can import it on our test site and try to replicate the issue on it.

For this, would you mind sharing the form export with us so that we can take a closer look?

You can follow the guide below on how you can export the Forminator form.
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

After exporting, please share the code using services such as https://pastebin.com or https://justpaste.it/ which are free to use.

Please feel free to remove any sensitive information the form might contain.

    Awaiting your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh
