    I wanted to ask something in the support forum of a theme, so when I went to log in (cant start a thread until you log in), I get the error “ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?”

    I am entering the username and password that I use to log in to my WordPress blog.

    When I go to register an account, my supposed username appears to be available, so someone help please, I tried using another browser but to no avail…

  • Sorry, not sure I understand. You posted here, so you were logged in – you had to be, else you could not have posted. So, you can log in. Or else I misunderstand?

    Oh hahaha, no I just created another account so I could get help.

    Just to make sure I am interpreting this correctly..

    The username and password for your own site won’t work in the forums. They (the login credentials for your site, and the login credentials for this site) aren’t connected in any way.
