• Hi. I’m very new to WordPress so you’re going to have to tolerate my noobness. I have recently downloaded a theme, and just recently I permanently deleted all of the pages under the pages tab. Now whenever I reinstall wordpress/ the theme there is only an about page, not the pages that came with the theme. Is there anyway to get these back? Thanks.

  • do you have your pages it you look in admin panel at Pages>All Pages?

Try to check the trash Section. However, if it’s not there, I doubt if you can still get it.

Anyone who has the idea to recover a deleted page or post?

No, probably the trash section also @vince

Not in the trash section. They are permanently deleted. What can I do?

If you have a database backup before you deleted that, I think it will still be possible to get that back. But if you don’t, then that’s probably lost.

@vince I don’t want the original pages back, they mean nothing to me. What I want is the pages from the theme I downloaded. I keep redownloading it from the site I bought it off and reinstalling, but it is not working.

Just a theory.. it’s probably because your database has been updated already that those pages are deleted. So what I know is, if you have a backup database before you deleted those pages, then you just need to restore that database so that it will read the pages again. That’s the only thing that I can think of.
