    I experienced the same issue hour ago (WP version 4.0.1). All you need to do to undone the problem is edit .htaccess file placed on your hosting server and remove section between #WP Performance Score Booster tags. Then save the .htaccess again and both the page and WP should be ok.

    Once you remove #WP Performance Score Booster tags from .htaccess as @garfi suggested. You can deactivate the plugin and reactivate or can reselect the plugin options from settings to take it into effect.

    This plugin should work with the latest version of WordPress.
