“I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy” checkbox?

  • How can I make a required “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy” checkbox?

    I found a thread about it on the Ultimate Member forums but the solution posted there looks ugly to me. (https://ultimatemember.com/forums/topic/add-i-agree-to-terms-conditions-checkbox-with-hyperlink-to-registration-form/)

    I would like to just have a checkbox with the “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy” next to it, and having the Terms and Privacy Policy both as clickable links.

    Is this possible using the default Ultimate Member form editor? And if not, can you please add a setting for this in the Ultimate Member -> Settings -> Registration menu?

    Something like:

    Terms and Privacy Policy Checkbox: [On|Off]

    Text to display next to terms checkbox:
    I accept the <a href="example.com/terms" target="blank">Terms</a> and <a href="example.com/privacy-policy" target="blank">Privacy Policy</a>

    Would make this plugin slightly more complete!

    Hi @swennet,

    You can make your “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy” checkbox required with a custom checkbox field in UM form builder. It has the option to make the field required. You can also add HTML anchor tags in the label and option.
