Everything seems to be working fine. My users can subscribe via the widget, they receive the confirmation email with their link, and they can confirm subscriptions. From the administration I can see the accounts, delete them, empty the unconfirmed ones….

The problem is that whenever you click on the confirmation link you get the error “wrong confirmation code”, no matter if the confirmation code is correct or not.
    What could be happening?

    Hi There,

What is in the fields called “Body of Email” and “Page to redirect to on confirmation of email address (full web address ie: https://www.domain.com/this-other-page/)”?

    Thanks

    Rhys

Reading your answer, I realized the problem. In a display of little intelligence I decided to ignore the requirement to enter a complete web address and place only the hash I needed to activate…..

By entering the full web address, I have no longer received that error.

I wanted to thank you for your help and apologize for such a silly mistake. I have found the attention you have given excellent and for that reason right now I am going to rate your plugin in 5 stars.

    Hi There,

No need to apologise! This is my fault. I should specify clearly on forms and fields that a full website URL should be added. This is a bug! I’ve added it to my bug tracker and will fix in the next few weeks.

My software is used by people all over the world and many users don’t speak English – my native language. I try to make things clear but occasionally I make mistakes myself. By pointing out something that you found confusing I can find ways of improving the software, so you have been incredibly helpful.

Thank you for testing, reporting this issue, and I’ll work on improving it.

Thanks again so much for the review, it helps so much.

    Best of luck going forward

    Rhys
