• I have wordpress 4.0. The site is completely new, I installed some plugins, everything is working correctly. However, in the moment I activate this plugin, I immediately get the blank screen and my admin console is not working at all (site itself is working fine). I need to rename the plugin directory to disable it and then everything is back to normal. I tried versions 2.1.5 and also 2.1.4, but the same situation… Can somebody help please?

  • Hello skubko,

If your admin panel showing you blank screen then hopefully this problem is occurred due to conflicts between all-in-one-event-calendar plugin and other Plugins.

For checking, Go to your dashboard> plugins >installed plugins. Disable ALL plugins except from the All-In-One Event Calendar. Check your calendar to see if the issue still exists.

please check below link for accurate solution.

    Hello gajinder,

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the steps in the troubleshooting guide did not help. I have disabled all of my plugins and activated All-In-One Event Calendar only. I immediately got the blank screen… So, I disabled the plugin again (by renaming folder via FTP), activated my plugins back and tried the second step with themes – I activated the theme Twenty Fourteen. Then I activated the plugin All-In-One Event Calendar and again, immediately got the blank screen…

So, it does not seem to be a problem of compatibility… Any other suggestions?

    Best regards

    Hello skubko,

As you said you follow the instruction of troubleshooting guide and you did not found the accurate solution. let try one more thing.

Please download the latest version of the plugin from https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/ and delete the older one and install the new one. try it with wordpress base themes like twenty thirteen or twenty fourteen.

If the error is still there then try to follow below steps.

Go to Dashboard>Events>Settings->advanced settings. click the checkbox have label Skip in_the_loop().

Hopefully it will help you to solve the issue.

    Thanks

    Hello gajinder,

maybe I did not explain it clearly… I am not able to try “Go to Dashboard – Events …” because immediately when I click “Activate” plugin, I get the blank screen and I am not able to access Dashboard at all, the whole screen is blank. Refresh does not help, still blank screen… I can only rename plugin folder via FTP and when I refresh dashboard then, it is working…

By the way, I have tried what you suggested – deleted the plugin, downloaded the one from wordpress page, installed it, changed the theme to twenty-fourteen and activate plugin == blank screen… I do not understand it, but it is not working at all, still having the blank screen immediately after activation…

Any other help would be appreciated.

    Best regards

You might need to raise the PHP memory limit for your host.

I’d look at how much memory your site uses currently using a plugin like WP-Memory-Usage or similar.

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-memory-usage/

Ai1ec can take between 16-32MB depending on what’s going on, so I’d make sure your limit is at least 32MB higher than when Ai1ec is disabled.

Note: The only other thing I can suggest is to enable debugging then try enabling the plugin, as that way you’ll get some sort of error that will help you fix the issue.

    Hello cefiar,

thanks for your help. I have tried the plugin, memory limit is 128 MB and WP is currently using 47 MB, so this is not a problem.

After that, I tried debugging and I belive we might finally have some answers, please take a look below… As I did not touch any permissions myself (yes, I have some security plugins installed, so they might have), I am not sure what should be the correct permission setup for my folders.. Please help…
