I am considering switching to this plugin but curious about youtube metadata

    Hi,

    I currently use WP tasty’s recipe plugin. I just started a youtube channel and am receiving google crawl errors for the videos I embed in the card. I’m getting errors for upload date and description metadata missing. Does your plugin migrate this info over or would I potentially have the same probelem? Would my nutrition data move over as well if I switch to your plugin?

    I’ve already answered your support ticket but I’ll but the answer here as well for others:

    We do have an import process that would import the nutrition facts:

    When embedding a YouTube video in WP Recipe Maker it should automatically load both the date and description (and the other video metadata fields Google wants to see).

    Did you end up making the switch? And if so are the errors resolved? I have food blogger clients asking if they should switch for the same reason. Thanks Sabrina!
