I am getting a double slash in the slug //

    It is not working I got the // removed by not forcing / at the end of URL but the download does not work becuase there is /ja/ there

    Indeed, seems like you are entering in an endless loop of redirects. Could you please give me some screenshots of dashboard > Downloads > Settings > General > General settings and dashboard > Settings >General ( the WordPress Address URL and Site Address URL I’m interested in ).

    Here you go. I am using translate press so all my pages have /ja/ or /en/ but I have never had a plugin problem. When I use the shortcode its creating a /ja/ link
