I am looking for Plugins that create a one-time link or self expiring link

  • I am looking for plugins like Unique Links, One-Time Link Generator, and WP-OneTime-Link (which was recommended to me) but I can not find any of those – not even when ill use an internet search ??

    I am sure there is a good reason for it – but I still would need the function.

    I want to create a link that is only valid for a certain time (or clicks) and then getting into a different page (error or link no longer valid page) . I dont want people to simply copy & paste links to free content via email without filing out a survey before.

    Please advise with any help!

    PS something like pretty links would not work – yes they have an option for expiring links – but it is a static link. I need a link that can be created by a shortcode (or something) simply from a survey that send the user to a different page on my site where they can get stuff (not a download!) to read. ANY help is so much appreciated!

  • I, too, was unable to find these plugins, so I thought about what I understand you’re trying to accomplish.

    What if instead of trying to find a solution for the URL, you simply linked to the survey. That way you could reuse the URL with whomever and add on UTM tracking if you need additional information.
