• Suggestion to be able to switch themes for more improved or improved versions and models.
Folks. I am concerned, and at the same time disgusted with the limitations of WordPress.
That’s right. When I set up a store on Wordpess almost 2 years ago, I bought a cool theme for that moment, but nowadays, this theme leaves me wanting, even because the theme update does not bring any improvement, nothing new in every way, except just an update, which is not perceived in anything, except to allow it to work as it did years ago.
And if I want to change a new, newly created Theme, to improve the looks and functions etc., lighter but beautiful, with some inputs and more features. Unfortunately, and currently there is no way to change. To change it loses all settings that have been made for years, both in the theme such as, menus, categories, translations, page settings, such as, Terms and Conditions, instructions, tutorials, FAQs page, website identity, phones, to other settings more.
If you can’t save all that, and more, when you change the theme to a more updated and better one, without losing the store’s operating settings, it gets complicated.
Do you lose everything? And do you have to start a store from scratch? Do users, customers, and products that have been published for years and selling, lose everything and all work for 2 years or more?
I’m having a hard time accepting this
You have to find a way to create plugins, or resources in Wordepress that have the means to save or backup everything that is necessary, if not, it is totally unfeasible and very expensive to use Woedepress.
How is it? Someone to correct me or console me with any solution or suggestions?
    Thanks

When you change a theme, you don’t lose anything or have to start from scratch.

It’s a very easy process, and lots of folks do it often just for fun even.

At most, you may need to re-arrange your widgets and menus, and you may have to re-designate your front page. This is because some themes name things differently, and that’s up the theme’s developer, but it should only take a few minutes to get those things back to where you want you want them.

If you found yourself actually losing content after switching themes, it means that either the theme you were using or the theme you are using now, is very much not up to WordPress theme coding standards.

All of the themes listed at https://www.ads-software.com/themes/browse/new/ (currently 7,972, all free) must meet rigorous standards before being approved: https://make.www.ads-software.com/themes/handbook/review/required/
