    Hi there,
I was getting a ton of brute force attacks, so installed the plug-in and enabled most things that didn’t look dangerous. I renamed the login page and put in a captcha. I don’t THINK that I enabled the cookie portion.

Then, going to the new login page, I’m challenged with login and captcha. BUT, then one of two things happens.

Either 1) it redirects to wp-admin, which fails since it no longer exists. Or
    2) gives this error” Error: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.”

I’ve logged in w/ sftp and tried to edit the .htaccess to remove everything there, but it’s apparently read-only now.

Working with the host, but…. help?
