I think I probably accidentally deleted a </div> tag, or something on accident, but now I can’t find where it was, and my site’s all jumbled.

Are there any sort of online tools or plugins to view my site and be able to look at the code and figure out what’s wrong?

What do you do when you’ve exhausted all options but you’re site is still borked? I tried an online php syntax checker, but it wasn’t able to spot the error. I went through manually, eyeballing trying to find what’s causing this and couldn’t find it either.

If you view this page for example: https://pinkfloydtabs.com/guitar-tabs/breathe-chords – you’ll notice the sidebar is way at the bottom. (It should be near the top) what did I do?

This has happened to me before but I was able to fix it in the past – I’ve spent the last 6 hours trying to fix it and I’m at a loss. Any ideas?

I tried validating and the firebug plugin and couldn’t find it, but thanks for your help still, WPyogi, those are good tools to know.

For anyone who might find this in the future, I was able to fix it by finding an amazing feature from my host I never knew about: They keep a backup of all files for my site, I can restore quickly, and easily myself within my control panel.

I can choose to restore any file from any of my sites from:

I knew the exact file I was messing with and that my last good copy was from 51 hours ago, so all I had to do was click the file, click restore and boom, it was fixed!

I wish I knew about this before spending the last 12 hours pulling my hair out trying to fix it, lol. But I’m glad I found this feature and that my host offers it, this will probably be very handy in the future.

I’m not sure if this will be true for your host, but they may have something similar.

    Cheers,
    Floyd3
