I can log in one way not another

  • I would be grateful if someone could help me find a solution to the problem I am having logging into the new WordPress blog I’ve installed.

    I’ve already gone through the troubleshooting page.
    I’ve deactivated my plug-ins, changed my theme and un-installed and reinstalled WordPress several times through Go Daddy. I have some HTML experience, but had trouble with the 5-minute do-it-yourself WordPress install.

    I already have a couple WordPress blogs hosted in the same place on Go Daddy. Neither are WordPress 3.1 and both log-ins work fine.

    Now I’ve installed WordPress 3.1 in the host and for some reason I’m having a problem logging in.
    When I go to my blog ( https://blogname.net/ )and click on log in under the meta heading, I cannot login.
    If I use https://mydomainname.com/blogname/wp-login.php, my password works.
    Any ideas?
