• Hello
I am in the process of making my new site. I had used wordpress before on a different theme. I understood that lots of plugins were not compatible so I deactivated them..everything was going fine, uploading photos and creating multiple galleries. I wanted to protect my material so I installed a plugin that disables right click etc..it had an add on the top of my page that I didn’t like so I deactivated it and installed a new one..after that-at least in that moment I realized that:
I go to add a new gallery item-from computer or media gallery-I choose size, but when i press “insert into post” nothing happens! the field stays blanc! same thing happens if I edit a background on a page..it does not respond..
I deactivated all the plugins, nothing happened..I deleted them..still it doesn’t work..I switched browsers (internet explorer-chrome and firefox) the problem remains, I re-installed wordpress..same thing, no changes..
    Has anyone encountered anything similar?
I have noticed that if I copy the link of the photo manually and place it in the field, it works, it accepts it and I can see it in the gallery..I just don’t know how to make thumbnails..placing “_n-300×300.jpg” in the end didn’t help, it doesn’t show the thumbnail :/
I have to finish it very soon, any advices?
    Thank you in advance!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
