I am about to release an update for the PRO version that will include a new shortcode called [wtf_fu_list_files] that will do 1). I may also make it do 2) as that seems like a useful thing.

I tested in android 5.1.1.
This is nothing to do with the plugin but with file management applications on android.

You may be able to install a file manager aop on android and use that to select multiple files when asked.

This is nothing to do with the plugin though.
