I can not install plugins … error message

  • Hello everybody,

    I installed WordPress and it works. As soon as I click on “Install” under Plugins, I get an error message:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Plugin_Install_List_Table’ not found in /www/htdocs/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/list-table.php:60 Stack trace: #0 /www/htdocs/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/wordpress/wp-admin/plugin-install.php(27): _get_list_table(‘WP_Plugin_Insta…’) #1 {main} thrown in /www/htdocs/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/list-table.php on line 60

    What have I done wrong? I do not understand that, everything else works perfectly.

  • If your server does not allow auto-installation of the plugin, then consider installing plugins manually try with this:

    That’s the problem: I don’t see the “Add New” option.
    There is only the “Install” option and when I press it, the error message appears.
