• Hello!

Since a few days I can no longer access the homepage of the website and am immediately redirected to an old non-existent (deleted) old homepage!

If I deactivate WP Cerper I can access the homepage.

If I activate WP Cerper the redirection to the old non-existent homepage works.

What is the reason for that?

And how can I solve this issue?

This issue exists with Version 9.5.5 and also 9.5.6.

    Best regards

  • Hi there!

If disabling WP Cerber didn’t resolves the issue, I recommend contacting your hosting provider to restore a backup of your website to a state before this problem occurred. This could quickly resolve the issue!

After deactivating the WP Cerber Plugin the problem is solved!

So it looks like that WP Cerber causes this problem.

What could be the reason for that and how can I solve it?

    Best regards

Hi! WP Cerber does not inherently block access to website pages, including the homepage, because there is no such functionality in its code. The issue is likely caused by a plugin conflict. It means there’s an incompatible plugin on your website and so you might not be able using WP Cerber. Its zero-trust approach to website security is not a good fit for your current website configuration.
