I can not send out newsletters

    Hello guys!

    I just started with Mailpoet.

    I really do like how easy it is to setup a newsletter and the option to automatically send out daily or weekly newsletters with our last articles.

    Now everything works, except sending the emails out.
    The problem is CloudFlare that blocks the cron job. When i disable CloudFlare or disable the Under attack mode I see it does work but my website is always under attack and it gets slow and is not reachable anymore after a while.

    I really want to use your service.

    I asked my host (WPMUDEV) but they can not really help me any further. I am searching now for hours on how to solve this but I can not find a solution.

    I am not very savvy with this things. I see wordpress is connected well with mailpoet but I see a very long error under task schedule which I will copy here.

    Is there any way around this?

    In this case, we recommend setting up the Linux cron option, as it bypasses this URL and should resolve it.

    Hi, thanks for the fast answer.

    I read about it but my host WPMUDEV says it can not install/implement (or how do you call it) a cron job in the host?

    I have no idea what that exactly means?

    I really want to use this and am willing to pay for it if someone can solve it.
    What I did try is instead of planning the email, sending it direrctly but that also did not work.
    What I also tried is disabling Cloudflare 5 minutes before I setup the daily time of sending out the automated email but that did not work either.

    I amn promising our readers a decent newsletter now for months. Finally I found one and now that annoying cron job.

    WPMUDEV has no CPanel or something like that and they assured me it is not possible.
    I was so happy and now I can cry, haha. Typical women.

    Hi @cstvnl,

    Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with MPMU DEV, but I found their documentation about how to set up a cron job using a plugin or a 3rd-party service: https://wpmudev.com/docs/using-wordpress/system-cron-custom-cron-jobs/#using-a-plugin-or-3rd-party-service

    Is there an emergency solution?

    I set it up to send out the daily email at 19:00 (Amsterdam Time).

    For example: Can I manually send it our does the cron job has to be in order?

    Hi Bruna.

    So I spoke to support. He solved the problem since the CRON JOB seems to be working.I whitelisted my IP in Cloudflare.
    When I go to MAILPOET everything looks fine.

    Although all looks fine when I go to emails I see:
    Oops! There seems to be an issue with the sending on your website. See our guide to solve this yourself.

    Under HELP -SYSTEM STATUS I see:

    For the plugin to work, it must be able to establish connection with the task scheduler and the key activation/MailPoet sending service.
