I can not upload any pictures

  • When I try to upload images to the Media Library, it does not work. I click the upload, but after I select an image (I’ve tried myriad sizes and file types), it goes back to the main screen and nothing happens.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Seventeen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    I tried that, and none of it worked, unfortunately. What I am noticing is that I cannot update anything (or add new plugins). It says “The package could not be installed. The package has no files. This is for every plug in I have.

    It still is not working, and I am getting concerned. We cannot upload anything. Any suggestions?

    In this case, I recommend contacting your hosting provider.

    If the plugins here were all invalid packages, we’d have a lot more reports than just this one. ??

    So, it sounds like something is misconfigured on the server’s end.
