That location, which I mentioned in the topic title, is the Primary Menu. The following first set of instructions (on how to create a Login Logout Menu) were given at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/questions-about-instructions-to-make-users-able-to-register-and-log-out/.

Once you activate the Login Logout extension on site, go to “ProfileGrid >>Global Settings >> Login Logout Menu” in the dashboard, here enable the “Custom Menu Items” and select the menu location of theme, once you select the location, the menu shown below in settings will be added to the menu at that location of site’s current theme.

After I couldn’t get it to work by following those instructions as best as I could, I was given (at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/questions-about-instructions-to-make-users-able-to-register-and-log-out-part-2/) the following second set of instructions (to do the same thing).

    1) Go to ” ProfileGrid >>Global Settings >> Login Logout Menu” in the dashboard.
    2) Enable the “Custom Menu Items” and select a menu location here (It shows the menu locations of your site’s current theme.
    3) Enable or disable the menu displayed below on this page (which you want to display on-site) and save it.
    4) Go to the site and check the menu location which you have selected in settings, here it should be added the menus which you have enabled.

Because I described my problem a little more, does the second set of instructions contain more steps than, or different steps than, the first set? If it does, I can’t figure out what makes the second set have more and/or different steps.

I thought I’d be able to use new menus because below “Custom Menu Items” (at “ProfileGrid >>Global Settings >> Login Logout Menu”) it says

Select one or more menus where you wish to display ProfileGrid menu items. Remember, menus are created and managed Appearance —> Menus

But, I’m not able to use new menus, because they don’t show up below “Custom Menu Items”. Specifically, it can be seen in the picture, that the following link goes to, that there was a menu named “Menu 2” at a page. It should still be there, because I saved Menu 2.

In order to add a Login Logout Menu, I wasn’t supposed to add anything to Menu 2, at that page, was I? Also, I didn’t think I had to give Menu 2 a Display location (at that page) before I can use Menu 2, because I’m able to use Menu 2 as part of the Navigation Menu widget, while Menu 2 doesn’t have a Display location.

However, it can be seen in the picture, that the following link goes to, that Menu 2 doesn’t show up below “Custom Menu Items”.

Please let me know if I should give you more information, describing what I have been trying, such as with more pictures.

    Thank you!

    Hello @jason975,

Currently, the Login Logout menu extension works based on theme location, so it shows the site’s current theme menu locations and adds the menu (which you have enabled to show in ProfileGrid settings) at the last of the menu at that location which you have selected in the settings. It does not work in the widget as of now.

I hope it helps, let us know if you have any other questions.
