    Hey @oly99.

    Thanks for contacting support.

That error looks like eBay is complaining that some value is no valid in your return policy. If that is correct, your best bet is to contact eBay seller support, show them the return policies you are using in WP-Lister, and ask them which value/option(s) are no longer utilized/not valid.

I say this because eBay has different rules for each marketplace, heck they even appear to have different rules for each category. So when you receive an error like this regarding a policy (where the actual options are only displayed directly on eBay and not shown in WP-Lister) your best bet is to speak with eBay and have them look at the policy in question.

Then update the policy directly on eBay. After that click the “refresh details” link on then “Accounts” page of WP-Lister. Then try revising the changed listings on the “Listings” page of WP-Lister again.

Or you could try removing all values except required ones, then go through the process directly mentioned above to update WP-Lister by refreshing the details, and try again, then add options back 1 by 1 while refreshing WP-Lister in between to find which specific option/value is causing this error from eBay.

A while back we received an email from eBay notifying us that they will be removing the 14 day return option and many users needed to change it to 30 days minimum. You should check the return policy on eBay for this.

Some users needed to remove any text entered in the “Returns description” field as many eBay categories no longer allow the use of that field. Based on your second warning, removing the text from the “Returns description” field in WP-Lister (either listing profile or edit product page, wherever you set your returns options) should fix this.

Another user received this error because they did not provide any international returns settings in their return policy on eBay. Make sure you enable international returns in the policy on eBay, then click the “refresh details” link on the “accounts” page of WP-Lister and try again.

Lastly, I have seen this error before when a return policy became “corrupt” on eBay. The fix for that is to create a new return policy on eBay, after that click the “refresh details” link on the “accounts” page of WP-Lister and then select the new policy in the listing profile, and revise/publish the listings again.

As for the Security error, which is the only message you really need to worry about as it is an error and the others are only warnings:

If your site does not use SSL, you will either need to push all images to EPS (and not have an image in the listing description) or install SSL and make sure WP/WC serves all images using HTTPS.

You can still upload images to ebay with EPS from http links. But if you have images in the listing template (description area) on eBay that are hosted from your site, those would need to be removed from the description in the listing template then revise all listings via WP-Lister.

If you are using SSL, we added an option on the advanced settings page called “HTTPS Conversion”, where you can set it to “Convert all HTTP content to HTTPS” option. Then revise your listings again.

    Kind regards,
    John
