Hi @orlandsalas, thanks for reaching out.

Do you mean that you clicked away from the scan results screen? You can either run another full scan manually from the Wordfence > Scan page, or scroll down to the tabs titled “Results Found” and “Ignored Results” to delete or repair files that weren’t dealt with after a recent scan.

Let me know if you have any issues!
    Peter.

After deleting critical files. An error display saying my website saying “There has been a critical error on this website.”

Hi @orlandsalas, thanks for your clarification.

It is possible to see files causing fatal errors in the background after an attempted repair if there is now something missing from the WordPress core files. We do prompt to backup your files before repair so it might be appropriate to restore a site backup and instead attempt to perform a manual site-cleaning if the issues found in the file were related to malicious action on your site.

You can also check (or ask your host to check) the server/PHP log files to see what the error is in the background causing the critical error on the front-end of your site.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
