I can't ad adverts on my Dezzain theme

    My theme is Dezzain (www.ineeddatingadvice.com) and the creator has disabled script tag for the advertisement/banner feature. So whenever i add Adsense Ad code using html script it would disable it and nothing would come up on the website where i placed the adverts.

    I was told by the creator’s FAQ to:
    “however you can use shortcode to insert script in theme option textarea field. i would recon use ‘shortcoder’ WordPress Plugin. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/shortcoder/”

    I tried this plug in and for some reason the shortcode would not come up on the website on post or adverts/banner feature.

    Any help/insight would be great.

    I am a beginner to all of this so please avoid using jargons. Thank you!
