I can’t cancel cache preload

It cancels for me, eventually. It might take a while. Did the preload stop at any point?

What you probably saw happening was preloading of tags and categories. The plugin doesn’t check for the stop command, but I added that in #317 for the next release.

1.4.9 preload worked every time fast and without problems!
Tried 1.5.1 and recognised preload problem (unstoppable)
And preload problems with ver 1.5.3 are still there!
I tried 1.5.3 on two different WP 4.8 Installations on 2 different webhosters
a) PHP 7.0.21, MySQL 5.5.55
b) PHP 7.0.19, MySQL 5.6.35
The preloading began in the middle of the work to hang (20 from 46 / 30 from 69 pages) and can not be stopped in any way. Waiting 5 minutes and longer (It seems that loading is continued very slow … like 1 Page / 10 Minutes or so)
Even a Rollback to ver 1.4.9 could not stop the running preload!
In fact I had to deactivate the caching and the whole plugin and afer a fresh WP login I was able to bring the rollback version 1.4.9 to work again. (good and fast as before)

Please make the preload feature work again like in 1.4.9, because it is the main reason why I use WP Super Cache and not another tool!

I have issues with the preloading functionality as well even with 1.5.3 version. There is only one button visible “Cancel Cache Preload” which doesn’t seem to do anything. The button “Preload Cache” is not visible anymore
