Why I can’t change WAF from enable to disabled?

Before this I added allowlist, but after saving, nothing happened. How to fix this?
    I am using nginx

Hi @rokokneslite, thanks for reaching out to us.

I just tested whether setting Wordfence > Firewall > Manage WAF > Web Application Firewall Status to disabled, followed by hitting the blue SAVE CHANGES button in the top-right corner would throw any errors or fail to disable from my end and it didn’t.

Are you able to change the status when all other plugins and custom themes are disabled? I would strongly suspect the save function is being stopped due to a load error in some scripts. Sometimes this is caused by another plugin conflicting or throwing a Javascript error so that our scripts fail to load properly afterwards.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi @rokokneslite,

It does sound unusual to be ineffective even when Wordfence is the only enabled plugin, but I’m happy to see if there’s anything from my end that could potentially diagnose it.

Please could you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,

    Peter.
