Hello. Thanks for your wonderful plugin.

Can I have some help please. I want to clean up unnecessary web images to free up disk space. I try to do it via the button in plugin tools but it doesn’t work. The process reaches “Stage 1: 993/85414” and stops. I left the computer all night to finish but no progress.

    Best wishes and blessings,
    Alexander Angelov.

    Hi Alexander,

I’m sorry to hear that. As we will probably need to see various logs, this would probably be better served as a direct conversation. Can you please contact us here: https://ewww.io/contact-us/
And can you please send over the System info?

I will get back to you, but could you please tell me first if there is a way to also delete the original jpg images that I upload to the site. Let me try that too, if possible, and then get back to you to do a thorough check. I mean to delete the original jpgs that the plugin made webp copies of, but if one day I temporarily disable the plugin, the webp images will still be displayed (in case the original jpgs are already deleted). Is there such possibility?

There isn’t an option in the plugin to also delete the original JPGs. The intent with WebP is that it is served unless it can’t be (some browsers, though old, don’t support WebP). In those instances, the service the falls back to the original (JPG or PNG).

I understand. Okay. I will contact you to look into the issue of why I am unable to clean up the unnecessary webp images.
