• Hi,

I try to create an account on wordfence.com but it shows the message:
Error: Your email address is currently being validated. Please try again in 30 minutes.
I have tried 2 different emails.

What is the cause and how can I solve it?

    Saludos.

  • I installed the plug in last night and it took at least 1-1/2 hours before it allowed my email address. I stopped mid-way through the checkout process, because I wanted to find out if new registrations on my website will also be put to this wait – even if it is a half hour. Apparently they don’t have any pre-sales support, so the forum is the best you get until after you purchase.

I would give them a couple of hours and see if your email is accepted. For me, I am not going to buy until I hear whether or not my customers are going to have to go through this wait.

Hi @boomerangz & @printedperfection thanks for getting in touch.

I’d normally request a separate topic for each customer issue, but they seem to be very specifically related. The message, “Your email address is currently being validated…” is linked to the email being detected as greylisted. So we can look into whether that should’ve been the case, you could use the email address you tried to sign up with to contact us at wftest @ wordfence . com. Please put your forum username in the subject line of the email and reply here when you’ve sent it.

If you ever do have questions about your use-case or Wordfence Premium’s product features before making a purchase, we have presales @ wordfence . com listed on our website’s contact page for that purpose.

    Many thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi @wfpeter,

I don’t understand what you mean by graylisting my emails?
Could you be more explicit please?

    Thank you.

    Hi @wfpeter,

As requested, I sent 2 emails, both are my addresses with which I tried…

    Thank you.

Thank you for replying. I just sent one email from “contact”. The other email, the one that I registered with is an alias named “wordpress”. That is a brand new email that I created the same day I tried to register on your site, for the purposes of organizing WordPress related emails.

Can you please tell me if this is what customers will experience when they’re placing an order? Customers can create an account when they order. I do not want them getting hemmed up in a long delay that causes them to abandon their order. I just want to stop the fake account registrations.

I know this latter part is abandoning the original topic slightly, but I didn’t think you’d want another post for it specifically.

    Hi?@wfpeter,

Send 2 email addresses as you indicated. but no one has responded. I still don’t get access to create an account on WordFence.
I don’t understand the procedure. Or they don’t want us to buy their product?
Please don’t waste my time, it’s worth as much as yours.

    Regards.

@boomerangz They haven’t replied to mine either. I finally went with another security plug in.

I’m having the same problem. Wordfence sent my Free license to the same email I’m using to create an account so I can purchase an upgrade to Premium. However, it keeps saying “Error: Your email address is currently being validated. Please try again in 30 minutes.”

Can someone from Support please respond and tell me what I have to do to purchase an upgrade. Hopefully, the support that comes with Premium is responsive as well.

@jwest444 It has been 3 months since I went through this and they still haven’t done anything. When you’re trying to give a business your money for their product and they ignore you, there isn’t much else you need to know. It’s a shame, because it looks like a good product, but it’s no good if you can’t use it.

    Hello,

They are not going to solve it for you.
The only way I found was to use a new email created in Gmail. That way I was able to create the user without problems.

The plugin is excellent, but the free support is terrible, I really hate this type of problems generated by the companies themselves and for which they never give you solutions and they don’t even respond to you.

Creating a new email to use to get the add in is one thing, but what about customers it blocks? Not worth it.

I agree with the blocked clients, the worst thing is that they are blocked and nobody does absolutely anything.
For this reason alone, it is not worth paying a license for this plugin.
