I can’t create new gallery’s

    WordPress 5.6.1
    NextGEN 3.5.0

    When I try to make a new gallery after I put a title and click Create and Select button error message popup :

    SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

  • I’m getting the same error and have been for the past 2 months. Only happens when I try to create new galleries. Pre-existing galleries work fine.

    Also this error message I got trying to add a new gallery through the manage galleries page.

    “Error thrown
    Call to undefined function ctype_lower()”

    Hi @vilim

    We hope that you wouldn’t mind reaching your hosting provider and ask them if ctypePHP extension has been enabled for the PHP version that you are using.

    This is a matter of a server side PHP extension that NextGen relies on not being found.
