Something went wrong! Error:Permission Error: Can not delete file /home/androidtipsmags/public_html/1534877269021/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo-premium/readme.txt. Go to WP Staging > Settings and lower ‘File Copy Limit’ and ‘DB Query Limit’. Also set ‘CPU Load Priority to low.’Than try again.

I do what is required, but nothing changes

    Hi,

Looks like a permission issue. Did you install that plugin manually via ftp afterwards?

Anyways, try to delete the plugin from the WordPress dashboard or via ftp. Then delete again the staging site. Does that work?

    Thank you for your reply

No I did not install the plugin manually.

were able to delete the plugin and re-install it

But I could not delete staging site.

Mhh I do not get that completely. Why do you install it again when you want to delete the entire staging site including all installed plugins?

When I say “delete the plugin”, of course I mean to uninstall the plugin on the staging site NOT on the live site. This would not make any sense, either.

So, please uninstall the plugin on the staging site and than try again. This should be working but anyways I think you need to delete the plugin via FTP because even wordpress will not be able to remove the plugin due to that file permission issue.

If this still not works feel free to contact me at: https://wp-staging.com/support/
And send me a link and details about your site there.

    Cheers

but that way Staging site information will remain within the database

Ok, Now I see why we have confusion here.

I’ve forgot to mention that I mean with plugin the “wordpress-seo-premium” plugin.

This plugin has a permission issue which is highly likely caused by manually uploading the plugin via FTP. Deleting the SEO plugin in advance and then deleting the staging site via wp staging will work!

    The same problem
Do you suggest deleting everything manually?

    Plugin Author Rene Hermenau

    (@renehermi)

    Can you explain that more?

So you say you were able to delete the wordpress seo plugin on the staging site, right?

After doing that and trying again to delete the staging site, what error message you got?

It can not be the same error message because the wordpress seo plugin has been deleted already. So I need some clarification here.

I delete the files manually and clean the database Also manually

I am having the same problem—please provide a solution. I deleted the plugin on the staging site, still no help.
