i Can’t edit User profiles even as an admin

Have you checked the permissions in Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit User Role? Perhaps this doc might be of help:

If the suggestion above does not resolve the issue, can you please do a conflict test on the theme first and then plugins and see if it is caused by a conflict. You can click the link for directions on the plugin/theme conflict test:

Yes, I checked the permissions in Ultimate Member > User Roles > Edit User Role, even before I created this topic.

For Admin user, the option “Can edit other member accounts?” is turned ON, as well as all other necessary settings.

I’ll carryout the conflict test as you suggested and get back to you.

Due to the urgent nature of the situation, I had to downgrade the plugin (I’d already done that before I read your suggestions). I’ll install it on a sub-domain and conduct the conflict test because I don’t want any form or complication on my site for now.

Hope it will work on a sub-domain…

The conflict test works?

Hello. Sorry I didn’t provide an update to this question all these while.

I did the conflict tests and IT DID NOT WORK. I had to continue with the lower version that was working. I eventually deleted the plugin and installed another membership plugin.

I really don’t know if they have fixed that issue in their recent updates because I am not using ultimate member, at least for now.

I have the same issue with Version 1.3.84, not able to see the gear icon so that you can edit a member profile as admin.

Checked
– permission set to admin can edit.
– deactivated all plugins/theme.
