I can't find CSS editing panel-doesnt come after appearance-customize. confused!

    i’m trying to edit css for the first time and i can’t find where to do this. i looked it up and saw on WP i should go to Appearance–customize— CSS.

    I don’t have CSS after customize. all have is a page with almost nothing on it with tabs that say ‘Site Title & Tagline’, ‘Navigation’ and ‘Static front page’ i clicked on Navigation to see and there is a message that says

    “Your theme supports 16 menus. Select which menu appears in each location. You can edit your menu content on the Menus screen in the Appearance section.”

    no css anywhere. help would be beyond appreciated so stumped!!

    Is this a wordpress.com site or a self-hosted WordPress install?

    in a www.ads-software.com installation, the ‘Edit CSS’ tab is not there by default;

    possibly install and activate the plugin ‘Jetpack’ and activate the ‘Custom CSS’ module.
