I can’t get my pages to have a comment section

I have been running my wordpress site for about a week now and I can’t get my pages to make a comment section.

I have set all the setting I can find to allow comments and the comment box never shows up on pages.

If I write a post the comment box shows up but not on a page.

Can anyone tell me how to get a comment box on a page?
