I can't get started

I just downloaded this so I hope I have the right version. I guess first question is how can I find out which version I am using.

Second question: how can I edit what I (think) I have. I want a title, picture and instructions.

Third, I want to make the page very private and want to give people I want to see it an invitation and their own password.

Fourth, I want to learn how to edit the front page to change it as needed.

Fifth, I want to be able to remove objectionable posts (if there are any) or delete posts after being up for 30 days.

How can I look at the finished product and check in on it daily to monitor posts. It seems like I can’t ever find my blog except by accident.

How can I search for the blog or direct invitees to it?
