I can't get Visual editor, a total no show

    There is no visual editor showing on my 3.4.1. I have just begun WP and I have read that sometimes you must reinstall. I have done a fresh download and install, with no viual editor (again). I am using xampp and everything else seems to work. It’s unbelievably hard to edit twentyeleven without visual/html editor.

    I did not find it. Still not working. What “edit button under the post” are you referring to?

    Problem solved! Simply install plugin “Use Google Libraries”. JS folders were not missing, so that is not the problem.

    I have tried all what you said guys but I still can not find it. I don’t know how to use the html. I need help!

    If you go to post something, or edit something, it pops up. But it is not very special, so you may not notice it’s even there. Similar to the little tabs over the comment box you see when you post on this forum.

    Ok what I’m about to confess to you is embarrassing, my profile had the visual editor off! Yes apparentely when I was editing my profile 3 days ago I checked it off. Thank you for all your trouble!
